The Breakfast Club, London (Soho)

yayayay, after over three months- Alex and I are finally reunited! So expect lots of blog posts in the near future. We embark on our eurotrip later in the week, so we’re trying to squeeze in as many London food adventures as we can before leaving! We started with the Soho location of the Breakfast Club, and we definitely weren’t disappointed. I started off with a ‘virgin mojito’- a tart juice bursting with apple, mint and lime flavours, and Alex had an equally delicious creamy banana milkshake. Then came the food. I’m usually not much of a breakfast fan, but oh my god. I ordered the pancakes with berries and fresh vanilla cream and was blown away. The pancakes were surprisingly sturdy and had a really nice, rich flavour and the vanilla cream was incredible- so sweet, thick and creamy. The berries topping it all off were fresh and tart, a perfect complement to the otherwise fairly heavy meal. Alex ordered ‘The Full Monty’- complete with black pudding, two poached eggs, baked beans, toast, potatoes, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage and bacon (the boy can eat!). It was traditional British fare- stodgy, greasy and delicious. The Breakfast Club itself was adorable- a very cute, quirky cafe that clearly is very popular at all times of the day. Their lunch menu was also fairly tempting, but you really can’t go wrong with fantastic breakfast that is served all day. A must for any London visit.
