Ok, so by now it’s pretty clear that I live for food markets. But forget what I’ve said about any other markets…Borough Market is the place to be. Stalls are overflowing with perfectly ripe avocados, beautiful sprouting broccoli, crunchy kale- any sort of produce one could ever need. There’s also plenty of meat, and the gourmet olive oil and balsamic stalls peppered throughout are definitely worth a stop. The cheeses are varied and delicious- I came home with a truffled brie that is to die for. These stalls are enough to satisfy any foodie, and I was already in heaven…and then I discovered the prepared food stalls. Sandwiches, bratwurst, kibbeh, kebabs- I’m so ashamed of myself for not being at borough every weekend since I got to London! I came home armed with loads of fresh veggies, expect them to be cropping up in my next few posts!
